If you've already got 'the basics' and want to move on then check out the Computer Clubs Training Workshops page, 'Do Drop In' sessions or the Photography Group They are there to give you more skills.
However, if 'the basics' of using your Windows computer, tablet or phone are still eluding you, then try this one on one type training for beginners. We will get you competent in the basics of using your device, to send and receive emails and to search the internet.
Where is this 'basic' training held at? Toronto Community Centenary Hub (The Hub) at 97 The Boulevarde, Toronto, NSW.
How is the training done? Training is at your pace. Besides a tutor to guide you there is a free online training system that you can repeat as many times as you like from home.
When is it held? During School terms on a Tuesday or Thursday over 7 weeks. Each session is one and a half hours and we aim to have no more than four seniors at a time. Booking is essential.
What does it cost? You need to join the Toronto Senior Citizens Association ($10) and then all we ask is a gold coin donation to cover any tea, coffee, photocopies etc. Being a member of The Hub gives you other benefits too.
